Sheriff's Office Deputy Opening

The Pawnee County Nebraska Sheriffs office is accepting applications for a full time Deputy.

Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, be 21 years of age at the time of employment, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be of good moral character with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a valid driver's license, and be in good physical condition.

Applicants must be willing to work a schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Non-certified applicants must be able to meet the minimum standards for entrance to the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.

All applicants must pass a background check. Some of the benefits include individual health insurance, family insurance is available at a cost to the individual, county retirement program, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and a take-home patrol vehicle.
