Sheriff's Office Deputy Opening

The Pawnee County Nebraska Sheriffs office is accepting applications for a full time Deputy.

Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, be 21 years of age at the time of employment, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be of good moral character with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a valid driver's license, and be in good physical condition.

Applicants must be willing to work a schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Non-certified applicants must be able to meet the minimum standards for entrance to the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.

All applicants must pass a background check. Some of the benefits include individual health insurance, family insurance is available at a cost to the individual, county retirement program, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and a take-home patrol vehicle.

ADVERTISEMENT PAWNEE COUNTY TREASURER

The Pawnee County Commissioners will accept resumes through Tuesday, August 17, 2021, for any interested persons wanting to be considered for the appointment as the Pawnee County Treasurer for the remaining term of office which expires on January 3, 2023. Applicants need not be a resident of Pawnee County at the time of application, but shall reside in the county at the time of appointment and be a registered voter of Pawnee County.
