Pawnee County Assessor Position
The Pawnee County Commissioners will accept resumes through Monday, April 19, 2021, for any interested persons wanting to be considered for the appointment as the Pawnee County Assessor for the remaining term of office which expires on January 3, 2023. Applicants must be certified by the Nebraska Department of Property Assessment and Taxation at the time of appointment. Applicants need not be a resident of Pawnee County at the time of application, but shall reside in the county at the time of appointment and be a registered voter of Pawnee County. Please send resume, cover letter, and a copy of the Assessor’s Certification to Pawnee County Clerk, PO Box 431, Pawnee City, NE 68420. Resumes must be in the Clerk’s Office no later than 4:00 p.m. April 19, 2021.

Sheriff's Office Deputy Opening
The Pawnee County Nebraska Sheriffs office is accepting applications for a full time Deputy.
Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, be 21 years of age at the time of employment, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be of good moral character with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a valid driver's license, and be in good physical condition.
Applicants must be willing to work a schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
Non-certified applicants must be able to meet the minimum standards for entrance to the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center.
